Welcome to Portadown Boat Club
There are approximately 100 members at Portadown Boat Club made up of Juniors (aged 12 – 18), Club level (aged 18+) and Masters level (aged 27+). Each year the Club hosts 2 major events in the Rowing Ireland calendar: the Portadown Boat Club Regatta and the Portadown Boat Club Marascull. There has been rowing on the River Bann at Portadown since 1877.
Our crews row in singles, doubles, pairs, fours, quads and eights and compete in events throughout Ireland. Many Juniors and Club members compete at Irish Championship level. Find out more about joining Portadown Boat Club here.
Portadown Boat Club has great facilities including a Boat House and Club House with fully equipped gym over looking the River Bann, 13 x rowing machines (Concept 2 ergs), changing rooms, committee room and car parking facilities.
All events are raising money for junior boats.
